I went up to Whistler B.C. to catch some fresh pow...picked up the Hauser Bros. on our way up the mountain, after they hit a boulder and totalled their Grand Am rental car. Skiing was fun. Check the pics...click here...

I finally caught up with my work
and had time to post
a couple galleries from Interbike.
First off is the random assorted
pics gallery...click
here...
My award for the tightest booth
goes to Deity
Components. Ya ya
ya I know they are my friends,
but c'mon, I have never seen a
first year booth as sick, and they
built it all themselves. Blood
sweat and tears baby, and it shows
their passion and commitment to
the sport. So check these
pics and decide for
yourself. Then get your bee-atch
arse over to Deity
Components and
buy some REAL parts. Oh, and by
the way...the white was there
first. Yep, everyone laughed at
the idea of powder-coated parts.
Hmmmmmm.....How ya like me now?

Yep, I'm
lame. long time no update. Well,
right now I am visiting lovely
Bristish Columbia, Canada. I
have been shredding Whistler
Bike Park. I had a lot of fun
dusting off the DH bike and getting
back to business. It is great
to ride sick trails with fun
people. I also did an epic ride
in the interior of BC, Rossland,
which is in the Kootenays. That
happened with Chris "Lunchbox
Larry" Lawrence and Greg
"Dilly" Stone. Blast
from the past, we had a great time!
30k of Bitchin' unadulterated singletrack.
Doesn't get much better than that.
Canada Rules. Check out the pics >> gallery
on but for now that's it!

You all might know by now that
I won't be racing this year. I
have made the decision to focus
on my other career in Graphic Design
and also spend some serious time
in rehab trying to fix my bad shoulder.
I have had the shoulder injury
since 2002, when I had an AC seperation,
but it has gotten worse and I am
trying to avoid having surgery.
I have a 50% rotator cuff tear
and a major labrum tear, followed
by some bicep tendinitis. I have
the same issues in both shoulders,
but the right one is way worse.
Man, rehab is a drag...it's like
a part-time job, but without the
pay! It's not too fun. Unfortunately
I am not riding my MTB much lately
and I am going crazy! I have been
on the road bike and also a while
back started studying Martial Arts,
which is really cool. I encourage
all you fools out there to try
Martial Arts, because it is good
for the mind, body and spirit.
I will stay involved in Mountain
Biking, and might show up somewhere
to compete when I want to, but
mostly I am looking forward to
riding my bike and having fun.
That's the reason I started this
sport, and it has come full circle,
and I am ready to enjoy that again! I
will be keeping tabs on all my
homeys who race, so rest assured,
I will be expecting the best from
all you fools. I will catch y'all
on the flipside...

Just returned from a two-week
trip overseas to Portugal with
my family. It was really cool.
Pretty amazing country, with
a lot of history that dates back
beyond the 4th century. They
once had arguably the strongest
empire in the World. Small country,
big history. Impressive.

it out yet, check out LeeLikesBikes.com website. It has some great info
and funny commentary for all things

Happy New year to Everybody. I hope y'all had a great Holiday season.
I went to the first supercross of the year at Anaheim. It was so muddy and nasty, which made it VERY entertaining. Check out a few pics here.

just got back from a little visit to my homeland, the city of Chicago. It was really cool to be in the city, and see the familly. My mom is an insane cook, so I was living large with the gourmet eats. Hard to resist the temptations of mom's cooking! Also went to see the new Millennium Park that was finished about 6 months ago. It is the coolest park I have ever been to. Very tech and modern, and amazing architecture. A must see for anyone visiting the city. Now I am home and back to the work grind. Catching up with everything that has been on hold for a week.
